Reviewer’s Take- Unabashed fun for fans who have eagerly awaited this sequel for almost 2 years now.
Positives of the film-
· Now at five sequels and counting the film has earned the tag of mythology with characters and incidents all forming an important part of this large body. The ensemble cast is a big positive of the film.
·Incidental humor and high- octane, hair- raising action with unexpected thrills is the strength of the film.
·Rock and Diesel on screen, need any further inspiration.
·Fast and Furious 6 builds on the wining blockbuster formula of Fast and Furious 5.
·Unabashed fun for fans who have eagerly awaited this sequel for almost 2 years now. It is worth that wait.
Negatives of the film-
·Script could have been a bit stronger. The biggest flaw of this film is the script and the silly plot, but this has been compensated by high adrenaline action that renders sense to the silliness. (Something that a “Skyfall” and “Star Trek into darkness” could have done, but failed in execution.
· The choreography in certain actions scenes of the film seems to be constant or repeated with two much emphasis on hyper edited style of presentation. (After all editing is only to present and aid a film).
· Trivial dialogues and silly sequences too could have been avoided. (After all it is an action film with thrill and kills and dialogues and sequences need to suit the same).
